WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2024, XXSTRUCTURAL is owned by Kate Spille, P.E.  Kate has been a structural engineer for nearly twenty years, working primarily in the commercial and industrial sectors.  She values streamlined, economical designs that meet both code requirements and client needs.  She firmly believes that structure should never be the star of the show but should instead be designed to support the functions of a given space.

Equipped with a life-long passion for tinkering and a blue collar upbringing, Kate has a keen understanding of constructability of designs.  Add in degrees in both engineering and mathematics, and Kate's skillset makes her well-suited for the complex, fast-paced world of structural engineering. 

Named a Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce "LEGACY Next Generation Leader," Kate also enjoys teaching structural engineering to younger generations.  She has received awards for her mentoring work and has hosted engineering events for middle and high school students.
